Zankoku is the premium best-in-slot answer for players who can farm into it. Coyote Starrk is the best ranged pressure weapon in the launch pool. Dark Blade is the most reliable broad-value weapon if you want something stable, strong, and easier to justify on a normal account.

Should I spend a long session farming a top weapon early?+

Only if the route overlaps with your natural progression. If farming the weapon forces you to ignore level, Haki, or money progression, take the bridge weapon first and come back stronger.
